What are first time central heating benefits?
First time central heating grants can help you if you live in a household struggling with inefficient or non-existing heating systems. With grant funding you can get a central heating system so that you can lower your heating bills and live in a warmer home.
A central heating system is a more reliable and efficient way to heat a house. Central heating systems are now designed to allow you to have complete control of when you heat your house and the temperature. That means no more coming home to a cold house after a long day!
Can I get a first time central heating grant?
First time central heating grants are available for homes without, and that have never previously had a central heating system. Funding often covers a brand new gas boiler, radiators and thermostats, or the installation of electric storage heaters and air source heat pumps.
These grants are designed to help low-income families access energy-efficient heating solutions. To qualify for first time central heating grants, you will need to be a homeowner or private tenants, be in receipt of benefits and live in a property with a low EPC rating of D, E, F, G.

Am I eligible for the first-time central heating grant?
To be eligible for the grant for first time central heating, you need to either own your own home or privately rent it. Your house should be well insulated to ensure that the cost of using your central heating is kept low.
What if my house needs insulation?
If your house needs additional insulation, our team can discuss your options and arrange for this to be installed.
Can you help with gas connection?
A gas connection and a gas meter will be required for a boiler. If this is not currently present at your house, our team may be able to help you organise a gas line connection for your house.
