How is room in roof insulation installed?
There are several ways room in roof insulation can be installed depending on the space, but insulation will be applied as either rigid insulation boards or using methods similar to loft insulation.
Sloping ceilings are insulated using the same method as for a warm loft insulation. This is when insulation is added to the joists of the loft floor and in between/over the roof rafters above the loft space. This is the best approach for loft spaces converted into liveable space. A layer of plasterboard will be applied on the inside of the insulation to finish this type of insulation off.
Most of the heat in your home is lost through the roof, and adding roof insulation is an effective way to save energy and reduce your bills.
